Join instrument maker and sound worker, Jim Doble, on a large array of Gongs and sound worker and intuitive, Maleine Gargurevich, on Gongs and with voice for an afternoon of diving deep into the potential of sound as a therapeutic force. This experience will feature a large and unique collection of Gongs, Cosmic Chimes, Vocals, and assorted small instruments.

Participants will be invited to relax and close their eyes in order to allow themselves to be transported on an inward Journey, fueled by the awesome sonic landscape. This Journey can help one reach a super relaxed state while energizing the brain, making space for healthy change to happen.

Please bring something comfy to lay on, and any blankets or pillows you might like. Yoga mats will be made available if you are without one.

We begin 1:1 sessions by increasing your connection to ease and safety to create a foundation of support. We then explore small pieces of discomfort at a time, moving slowly and gradually. I guide you to connect with physical sensation as well as imagery, movement, emotion and thoughts. As the information forms and evolves, it expresses what your system needs for completion. As we listen, the nervous system can gently release bound up energy and restore equilibrium and internal regulation. The process is organic and intuitive as we explore what emerges in the present moment.

In the context of WellFest, these sessions are not geared toward healing trauma, but rather processing mild physical discomfort, frustration or stress in order to introduce the practice of Somatic Experiencing®.
